If you spot a factual error on this site, write to the editor's address listed in the footer. We review reader-reported corrections within 5 working days, document the change here, and update the affected route.
What we correct
Types of corrections readers can expect to see in this log.
- Factual errors in the rules walkthrough, meld anatomy or scoring ledger.
- Outdated offer references — any bonus amount or promotion that has lapsed.
- Verification errors when the operator's T&Cs change after publication.
- Editorial voice slips that surface a structural label rather than the subject matter.
Each correction entry includes the date, the section affected, and a short note explaining what changed. We do not retroactively rewrite history.
Who reports
Corrections come from readers, the editor and the operator's T&Cs.
Most of the entries above originated from a reader noticing a stale figure, a new operator policy, or a change in the regulator's framework. The editor reviews each submission within five working days and either accepts (logging the change here) or declines (writing back with a short rationale). The operator's T&Cs remain the source of truth; we update this log when our work has been overtaken by a published operator change.
What we do not publish in this log
Three categories of correction we leave to the operator.
- Live operator incidents — these are the operator's job to publicise; we link to the source rather than restate the claim.
- Payment-rail outages — these are the rail's job to publish; we note them only when our coverage overlaps with the rail's status.
- Third-party opinion pieces — these belong to the publisher; we do not adjudicate opinion corrections.
