Customer care

An editorial note on reaching Betway customer care.

We do not publish a phone number or email for customer care on this site, and we strongly advise against using a number you find via a search engine — third-party listings frequently quote numbers that have been retired, re-routed, or are outright unsanctioned.

How to reach customer care safely

  1. Open the operator's app or website directly (do not arrive from a third-party link).
  2. Navigate to the help / support page inside the verified session.
  3. Use the contact method the operator exposes there — typically live chat, email, or a verified phone number.
If you have a payment dispute. Document every interaction (screenshots, ticket numbers, time stamps) before the chat ends. Most operators resolve disputes inside 5 working days; anything longer warrants a regulator complaint — keep receipts.

Documentation before you escalate

What to gather before you contact support.

  1. Your account identifier (mobile number or email) but never the password.
  2. The transaction reference ID of any disputed payment.
  3. The exact text of any promotional email you acted on.
  4. Screenshots of the disputed chat or table state, with timestamps.
  5. Your KYC submission reference, if the dispute touches verification.

Send no more than is needed; never share an OTP, password, PIN, or CVV. A licensed operator's support team will never ask for those.

Long disputes

What to do when a dispute does not close in five working days.

  1. Re-summarise the dispute in writing to the operator, including any ticket or reference number.
  2. If the response is automated, reply with a request for an explicit human follow-up.
  3. If unresolved at 10 working days, contact the relevant state regulator's grievance cell with the documentary trail.
  4. If unresolved at 30 working days, escalate to the consumer court of appropriate jurisdiction.

Document every interaction. The documentary trail is your advantage at every step of the escalation.

When not to escalate

Five escalations that waste the operator's time — and yours.

  • Asking customer care to explain the rules of rummy. The glossary page here is a faster answer; the operator's help pages are a second.
  • Disputing the wild-joker convention without checking the table's rules sheet. The convention is published inside the lobby.
  • Asking for the "best" deposit method. The best is the one your bank supports without friction; ask your bank rather than the operator.
  • Reporting a phishing attempt via the operator's chat. Use the operator's published phishing report form, if one exists, or report to India's CERT-In.
  • Demanding a bonus that has expired. Customer care cannot revive an expired offer; the operator's calendar controls timing.
